Mission of the Centre

The purpose of the Centre is to promote interdisciplinary research and scholarship in Mathematical Biology, i.e. mathematical modelling applied to all aspects of medicine and biology and related activities, across the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde. It is a joint centre of the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde, under the Synergy agreement.

Full membership is open to all members of the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde, who have active research interests related to Mathematical Biology.

Associate membership is open to members of the NHS and other universities in the region, who have active research interests related to Mathematical Biology, subject to approval by the Executive Committee.
