Special Issue of

International Journal of Applied Electromagnetics and Mechanics

• Editor-in-Chief: Kenzo Miya (Tokyo, Japan)
• Publisher: IOS Press (The Netherlands)
• Guest editor: Werner S Weiglhofer (Glasgow, Great Britain)
• Paper selection: The special issue will contain manuscripts representative of the contributions at Bianisotropics'97. Manuscripts must be based directly on or closely related to the respective conference presentations. Submission to the Special Issue is only by invitation from the guest editor.
• Length of manuscript: Manuscripts must not exceed 16 double-spaced pages of A4 paper, with each figure counting as a page.
• Electronic submission: All correspondence between the guest editor, authors and reviewers, including the submission of original, revised and final manuscripts as well as referee's reports will be conducted via electronic mail. Authors are strongly encouraged to submit manuscripts typeset in LATEX.
• Review process: The review process will be conducted by the guest editor. Manuscripts will be reviewed strictly in accordance with journal guidelines: each manuscript will be reviewed by two referees; one of those two referees may be one of the other authors who have submitted manuscripts to the Special Issue. Anyone submitting a manuscript will agree to act as a reviewer of one of the other submissions and to provide both a prompt review as well as the revisions of his/her own manuscript in accordance with the deadlines indicated below.
• Schedule and deadlines:
  • Submission of manuscripts: 15 September 1997
  • Review reports to authors: 31 October 1997
  • Final manuscripts from authors: 30 November 1997
  • Final manuscripts to publisher: 10 December 1997
  • Publication of Special Issue: March - June 1998
