Alastair Craw

I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Glasgow. After completing my PhD at the University of Warwick in 2001 under the supervision of Professor Miles Reid FRS, I spent two years as a Wylie Instructor at the University of Utah, and three years as a Simons Instructor at the University of Stony Brook. Research: My research establishes links between algebraic geometry and representation theory using techniques from geometric invariant theory, toric geometry, quiver representations, noncommutative algebras and derived categories. My research is supported by the EPSRC.

Editorial work: London Mathematical Society (I was an editorial adviser at the Glasgow Mathematical Journal 2008-2012).
