Bus 727 goes between the airport and the city centre, passing close to the campus, on a 15 minute frequency.
Catch the bus from just outside the terminal building.
A ticket costs about four pounds, and it may be best to buy a "period return".
Get off at the stop just past the roundabout where Great Northern Road and St. Machar drive meet.
(It's a good idea to tell the driver where you're going.)
From there walk east down St. Machar Drive until you reach another roundabout,
and then you are on the campus map (see below).
Taxis from the airport take 20 minutes or a little more, and cost around £20.
Walking from the railway station to the campus takes around 35 minutes.
One option is to walk from the railway station to Union Street
(perhaps by following crowds through the Trinity Shopping Centre),
then turn right / east along Union Street to the junction with King Street,
then turn left / north along King Street.
Walk along King Street for around 20 minutes until you see the campus on your left,
starting with a large playing field.
Taxis from the railway station cost around £15 and take around 15 minutes.
The best bus option is to walk to Union Street from the railway station,
cross Union Street, then catch bus number 1 or 2. A single ticket is £2
and you should get off at the stop on King Street just south of Regent Drive.
(You'll see a Tesco Metro & petrol station on your right, and then you should
get off at the next stop.)
Contains the Maths department, including the Maths lounge and the rooms where talks will be held. The Maths department is on the first floor, near the back of the building.
This is where lunch will be held.
