26th December 1976 – 25th July 2007

 

Laura’s untimely death has deeply saddened all of us who knew her. Here in the Mathematics and Statistics Departments of the University of Glasgow, Laura was a colleague, a top calibre research scientist and our friend. She is deeply missed. Our deepest sympathies go out to her mother Jennifer and stepfather Bryan Tomlinson and all those close to her. A Memorial Service was held on Thursday the 27th of September at the Chapel of the University of Glasgow.
