Sira Gratz

Teaching and Supervision

In the academic year 2020/21 I am teaching 2F: Groups, Transformations and Symmetries and 5M: Lie groups, Lie algebras and their representations at the University of Glasgow. If you are a student looking for information on these courses, you'll find it on moodle. I am also teaching the section on commutative algebra in the Groups, Rings and Modules core module of the SMSTC.

I am currently supervising two PhD students: Damian Wierzbicki has been working on cluster algebras and their implementation on the computer in joint supervision with Christian Korff since October 2018. David Murphy has been working on his project on representations of algebras since October 2019 in joint supervision with Greg Stevenson.

If you are interested in doing a PhD in a topic related to my research, feel free to contact me; I am happy to discuss possible options at the University of Glasgow or elsewhere. Useful information for prospective PhD candidates in pure maths at the University of Glasgow is available on Core Structures @ Glasgow.
