[Transitions] [Transversions and indels]
The number of transitions reconstructed at position 16051-16365 in a study of 873 high-resolution RFLP/HVS-I haplotypes (V. Macaulay, H.-J. Bandelt, M. Richards, A. Torroni, unpublished data). The numbers are in some cases fractional since, in cases where a unique tree could not be inferred, an average count over most parsimonious reconstructions was performed. The "speedy" transitions were those that attained two or more hits in this list.
