Campus map
A campus map with building list can be found on the University of Washington website.
All lectures are given at Smith 205. Smith Hall is located near the center of the north central part of the UW campus, see this map.
The Department of Mathematics is located at Padelford Hall, C-wing.
Arriving in Seattle
- One easy way from SEA/TAC airport to the University is to take a Shuttle Express.
- You could also take taxi (more expensive) or a bus (less expensive).
- If you are familiar with the Seattle bus system, you could take light rail to downtown Seattle, and change bus from downtown to your place. Metro Transit's Trip Planner can help you to find the best routes.
If you are not staying at the University district, you can take a bus to the University of Washington campus. The Trip Planner can help you find stops near the campus.
Internet and Email
During the conference free wireless Internet access will be setup for use of people with laptop computers. A limited number of individual Math Email accounts will be assigned to anyone who doesn't bring a laptop. User name and password for wireless access and Math Email accounts will be available at registration.
Registration
Registration is from 8:45am to 9:45am on Monday 9 August at Smith 404.
Coffee
Coffee will be available from 8:45am to 11:30am and, approximately, 3:30pm-6:00pm in room Smith 404 on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and in Smith 405 on Tuesday.
